1. Progressively loosen rocker arm torx screws (Figure 1, Item 1), using inverted torx socket, 1/2 turn at a time,
working from ends of rocker shaft assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) toward center.
2. Remove torx screws (Figure 1, Item 1) from rocker shaft assembly (Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Remove rocker shaft assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) from cylinder head (Figure 1, Item 3).
C AU T I O N
Mark pushrods with location information so they can be reinstalled in original locations.
DO NOT interchange positions of used pushrods. Failure to follow this caution may result
in damage to equipment.
4. Mark and remove pushrods (Figure 1, Item 4) from cylinder head (Figure 1, Item 3).
C AU T I O N
Mark valve bridges with location and orientation information so they can be reinstalled in
original locations and orientation. DO NOT interchange positions of used valve bridges.
Failure to follow this caution may result in damage to equipment.
5. Mark and remove valve bridges (Figure 1, Item 5) from cylinder head (Figure 1, Item 3).
