PRESSURE SWITCH REMOVAL

1. Recover A/C refrigerant (WP 0295).
N OT E
Tag and mark wires to aid in installation.
Cap and plug all lines and fittingsat removal to prevent contamination.
2. Disconnect wiring harness connector (Figure 1, Item 3) from pressure switch connector (Figure 1, Item 5).
3. Remove pressure switch connector (Figure 1, Item 5) from clip (Figure 1, Item 4).
4. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 1, Item 1) from pressure switch harness (Figure 1, Item 2). Discard tiedown
strap.
5. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 10), washer (Figure 1, Item 9), and plate (Figure 1, Item 11) from compressor
(Figure 1, Item 6).
6. Remove two tubes (Figure 1, Item 8) and O-rings (Figure 1, Item 7) from compressor (Figure 1, Item 6). Posi-
tion tubes aside and discard O-rings.
7. Remove pressure switch (Figure 1, Item 13) and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 12) from compressor (Figure 1, Item 6).
Discard O-ring.
