Ensure two dowels on bottom of oil pump housing are aligned correctly with mating holes
in cylinder block.
1. Install engine oil pump (Figure 2, Item 4) and four bolts (Figure 2, Item 5) on engine (Figure 2, Item 6). Torque
bolts to 32 lb-ft (44 Nm).
2. Install bracket (Figure 2, Item 8) and bolt (Figure 2, Item 9) on engine (Figure 2, Item 6).
3. Install new gasket (Figure 2, Item 3), suction pipe (Figure 2, Item 1), and three bolts (Figure 2, Items 2 and 7)
on engine oil pump (Figure 2, Item 4). Torque bolts to 16 lb-ft (22 Nm).
