1. Remove dipstick (Figure 1, Item 3) and wipe clean. Reinsert into engine and remove dipstick, and inspect dip-
stick for indications of contamination to oil.
2. Clean area around oil filler cap (Figure 1, Item 1) and remove oil filler cap from oil filler (Figure 1, Item 2).

3. Position drain pan under crankcase drain valve (Figure 2, Item 1).
4. Open crankcase drain valve (Figure 2, Item 1). Allow oil to drain. Dispose of oil IAW unit's SOP.
