Diesel fuel is combustible and an irritant. Skin and eye protection is required. Ensure work
area is well ventilated. Keep away from open flame and other ignition sources. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
9. Disconnect upper fuel line (Figure 3, Item 1) from ECM (Figure 3, Item 8). Squeeze sides of fuel line connector
to disengage lock and pull gently to disconnect.
10. Disconnect lower fuel line (Figure 3, Item 2) from ECM (Figure 3, Item 8). Push in fuel line connector to
disengage lock and pull gently to disconnect.
11. Remove bolt (Figure 3, Item 3), washer (Figure 3, Item 4), three clips (Figure 3, Item 5) and spacer (Figure 3,
Item 6) from machine. Position wiring harnesses and clips aside.
12. Remove four bolts (Figure 3, Item 10), washers (Figure 3, Item 9), ground strap (Figure 3, Item 7), and ECM
(Figure 3, Item 8) from machine.
