29. Return the engine to idle and turn the ignition switch to OFF position (TM 5-3805-293-10). Wait for at least 2
minutes to allow fuel pressure to dissipate.
WARN I N G
Residual pressure remains in fuel line. Wear adequate eye protection when removing air-
in-fuel test hose in the following step. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to
personnel.
30. Open valve on air-in-fuel tester to relieve fuel pressure.
31. Press down on connector and remove air-in-fuel test hose (Figure 30, Item 1) from secondary fuel filter con-
nection (Figure 30, Item 2).
32. Remove secondary fuel filter (WP 0073).
33. Press down on connector and remove air-in-fuel test hose (Figure 30, Item 4) from cylinder head connection
(Figure 30, Item 3).
