Test Step 2. Test for Shorted Rear
Chassis Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Disconnect UA-C2 (WP 0009,
Figure 192) from right steering
position sensor (WP 0009, Figure
197).
3. Disconnect UC-C2 (WP 0009,
Figure 196) from left steering
position sensor (WP 0009, Figure
193).
4. Connect the steering position
sensor harness UC-C2 (WP
0009, Figure 196) to right steering
position sensor (WP 0009, Figure
197) (WP 0169).
5. Disconnect the rear chassis wir-
ing harness connector FA-C20
(WP 0009, Figure 113) from trans-
mission ECM J1 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 112).
