Test Step 2. Test for Open Rear
Chassis Wiring Harness.
1. Disconnect the rear chassis wir-
ing harness connector FA-C20
(WP 0009, Figure 113) from trans-
mission ECM J1 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 112).
2. Connect jumper wire between
starter harness connector FG-C2
(WP 0009, Figure 137) terminal A
and terminal B.
3. Using digital multimeter, test for
Resistance Less Than 5.0 Ohms -
resistance between rear chassis
Transmission ECM faulty, replace
wiring harness connector FA-C20
transmission ECM (WP 0137).
(WP 0009, Figure 113) terminal
Remove jumper wire between starter
11 and terminal 21.
harness connector FG-C2 (WP 0009,
Resistance should be less than
Figure 137) terminal A and terminal B.
5.0 ohms.
Connect the starter harness connec-
tor FG-C2 (WP 0009, Figure 137) to
service brake accumulator pressure
sensor (WP 0009, Figure 138).
Proceed to step 4.
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Greater -
Proceed to Test Step 3.
4. Using the MSD (WP 0006), select
1961-03 Code Active - Repeat trou-
Trans/chassis 120M and verify
bleshooting code from the beginning.
1961-03 is not active.
1961-03 Code Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 3. Test for Open Starter
Wiring Harness.
1. Disconnect the starter harness
connector FH-C2 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 135) from rear chassis wiring
harness FA-C12 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 134).
