The scarifier assembly uses a hydraulic lift cylinder to move the scarifier up or down. The scarifier is controlled by
the implement control roller.

1. The air conditioner assembly is located inside the cab, under the operator's seat. It contains both the heater
core and air conditioning evaporator. A separate switch turns on the air conditioning compressor. The heating
and air conditioning components consist of the compressor, the condenser coil, the accumulator, the dryer and
orifice tube, the evaporator coil, and the heater valve.
2. The temperature control knob is connected to the heater control valve, which controls the flow of coolant
through the heater coil. The temperature of the air across the evaporator coil is preset by the nonadjustable
thermostat. The temperature of the cab is maintained by the position of the temperature control knob on the
heater.
