Before Starting the Engine
Walk-Around Inspection For your own safety and
maximum service life of the machine, make a thorough
walk-around inspection before mounting the machine or
starting the engine
Look under and around the machine for such items as
loose or missing bolts, trash buildup, oil, fuel or coolant
leaks, condition and inflation of tires and condition of
cutting edges.
1.
Inspect tires for cuts, gouges and proper inflation
pressure See "Tire Inflation Information."
2.
Inspect circle drive for leaks. Stop any leaks.
3.
Inspect blade and end bits for wear, damage,
loose or missing parts. Make repairs as necessary.
4.
Inspect blade linkage for damage, loose or
missing bolts. Make repairs as necessary.
5.
Inspect cooling system for leaks, worn hoses
and trash buildup Stop any leaks, replace worn hoses
and remove all trash.
6.
Inspect condition and cleanliness of steps and
handholds. Repair or clean steps and handholds if
necessary.
7.
Inspect operators compartment for cleanliness,
loose
items
or
broken
gauges.
Clean
operators
compartment as necessary.
