TM 5-3805-261-34 TRANSMISSION MAINTENANCE. 14-10. Selector and Differential Control Valve. (Sheet 4 of 6) INSPECTION 1. Apply compression load of 9.15 to 10.75 lb. to springs (3 and 17, Figure 14-97). 2. Measure springs (3 and 17). Length should be 1.062 inches. 3. Measure springs (3 and 17) free length. Length should be 1.31 inches. 4. Apply compression load of 22.75 to 24.65 lb. to spring (6). 5. Measure spring (6). Length should be 1.426 inches. 6. Measure spring (6) free length. Length should be 2.796 inches. 7. Apply compression load of 11.9 to 12.9 lb. to Spring (7). 8. Measure spring (7). Length should be 2.28 inches. 9. Measure spring (7) free length. Length should be 4.5 inches. 10. Apply compression load of 3.68 to 4.32 lb. to spring (21). 11. Measure spring (21). Length should be 0.25 inch. Figure 14-97. Go to Sheet 5 14-67
