Using clean grease, lubricateballstud (24) and two inserts(19) after surfaces are wipedclean.NOTEInstall enough shim(s) toprevent excessive clearancearound ballstuds. Be surethere is an equal number ofshim(s) on each side ofballstud. Inserts must fitsnugly on ballstuds.3. Install shim(s) (20) and one oftwo inserts (19) on cylinder(22).4. Using hoist and sling, positioncylinder (22) on ballstud (24).5 Install one of two inserts (19),shim(s) (18), cap (17), twolockwashers (16) and bolts (15).Tighten two bolts (15).6. Using clean grease, lubricateballstud (23) and two inserts(13, Figure 10-125), aftersurfaces are wiped clean.7.
