(Sheet 2 of 4)REMOVAL1.Remove two plugs (1) from top of oil filterbase.2.Remove bolts (2 and 3), washer (4), clip (5),spacer (6), tube (7), gasket (8) and preformedpacking (9, Figure 3-76) from left side ofengine. Discard gasket (8) and preformedpacking (9). Remove all gasket material frommounting surfaces.NOTEAll hose and tube assemblies must betagged before disconnecting to aid ininstallation. Cap all hose and tubeends to prevent contamination.3.Remove bolts (10 and 11), washer (12), clip(13), tube (14), gasket (15) and preformedpacking (16). Discard gasket (15) andpreformed packing (16). Remove all gasketmaterial from mounting surfaces.4.Remove two bolts (17), washers (18) andspacers (19, Figure 3-77).5.Remove bolt (20), washer (21), bolt (22),washer (23), bolt (24), washer (25), bolt (26)and washer (27).6.Remove items 28 thru 42 as an assembly.7.Remove and discard preformed packings (43and 44).Go to Sheet 33-101Figure 3-76.Figure 3-77.
