(Sheet 5 of 8)REPAIR (cont)3.Mark four exhaust valves (8) and intake valves(9) to respective inserts from which they weremeasured with.4.Grind four exhaust valves (8) and intakevalves (9). Angle of four exhaust valves (8)and intake valves (9) must be 29-1/4 degrees.5.Apply Prussian blue to face of four exhaustvalves (8) and intake valves (9) and install intoits matchmarked insert. Turn valve stemallowing valve face to lightly ride face of insert.Remove valve. If blue is transferred to centerof valve face, contact is good. If blue istransferred to top of valve face, lower insert bygrinding. When blue is transferred to bottomedge of valve face, raise insert by grinding.ASSEMBLYWARNINGUse gloves or tongs to handle extremely coldparts such as those which have been chilled indry ice.
