Free length after test must be2.05 inches.REPAIRNOTEThe following is a maintenance repairprocedure of one exhaust and oneintake insert. The maintenance repairprocedure of the remaining threeexhaust and three intake inserts isidentical.1.Grind four exhaust inserts (6) and intakeinserts (7, Figure 3-50). Angle of four exhaustinserts (6) and intake inserts (7) is 30 degrees.To reduce maximum seat angle, grind seatface to 15 degrees, if necessary.NOTEValves must be marked and assigned tothe insert valve recess from which theywere measured.2.Measure four exhaust inserts (6) and intakeinserts (7) and valve recess.
