Install two new preformed packings (1) and elbow (3)

on steering control valve.
27.
Connect hose assembly (2) to elbow (3).

Start engine (TM 5-3805-261-10).
29.
Turn steering wheel. Move wheels back and forth at least five times to bleed air from the system.
30.
Turn engine off.
31.
Check for leaks.
32.
Check hydraulic oil level and fill as necessary (WP 0216 00).
