TM 5-3805-261-20 TRANSMISSION MAINTENANCE. 8-5. Transmission Modulation Control Housing (Sheet 3 of 6) REMOVAL NOTE Lever is keyed to shaft. 4. Remove bolt (10), key (11) and lever (12) from shaft (16, Figure 8-11). NOTE Lever will come loose as shaft is removed. 5. Remove four bolts (13) and washers (14) attaching housing (17, Figure 8-12) to bracket of cab floor weldment. 6. Remove lever (15), shaft (16) and housing (17, Figure 8-13). NOTE All wire, cable and harness assemblies must be tagged before disconnecting to aid in installation. 7. Disconnect cable assembly (18) from housing (17, Figure 8-14). 8. Remove washer (19) and nut (20) from cable assembly (18). 9. Using an arbor press, remove bearings (21 and 22) from housing (17, Figure 8-15).
