1. Loosen nut (Figure 1, Item 5) and slide clamp (Figure 1, Item 4) down right blade lift cylinder (Figure 1, Item 9)
approximately 3 to 4 inches (76 to 102 mm). Do not tighten nut.

assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to
personnel.
N OT E
Blade lift cylinder weighs approximately 130 lb (59 kg).
2. Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 6) and washers (Figure 1, Item 7) from caps (Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Start engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
4. Slightly raise blade lift cylinder and, with assistance, remove two caps (Figure 1, Item 2) from right blade lift
cylinder lower lugs (Figure 1, Item 8) (TM 5-3805-293-10).
5. Install two caps (Figure 1, Item 2) onto right blade lift cylinder upper lugs (Figure 1, Item 3).
6. Slowly adjust length of right blade lift cylinder (Figure 1, Item 9) and centershift cylinder (Figure 1, Item 16) to
position caps (Figure 1, Item 2) onto bar assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) (TM 5-3805-293-10).
7. Stop engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
8. Install four bolts (Figure 1, Item 6) and washers (Figure 1, Item 7) on caps (Figure 1, Item 2).

Note position of shims to aid in installation.
9. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 13), washers (Figure 1, Item 14), cap (Figure 1, Item 11), and shims
(Figure 1, Item 10) from right blade lift cylinder (Figure 1, Item 9).
10. Start engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
11. Slowly adjust length of right blade lift cylinder (Figure 1, Item 9) to reposition right blade lift cylinder from normal
operation position ball (Figure 1, Item 15) to transportation position ball (Figure 1, Item 12) (TM 5-3805-293-
10).
12. Stop engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
