1. Loosen nut (Figure 2, Item 2) and slide clamp (Figure 2, Item 3) up left blade lift cylinder (Figure 2, Item 16)
approximately 3 to 4 in. (76 to 102 mm). Do not tighten nut.

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to
personnel.
N OT E
Blade lift cylinder weighs approximately 130 lb (59 kg).
2. Remove four bolts (Figure 2, Item 5) and washers (Figure 2, Item 6) from caps (Figure 2, Item 7).
3. Start engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
4. Slightly raise blade lift cylinder and, with assistance, remove two caps (Figure 2, Item 7) from left blade lift
cylinder lower lugs (Figure 2, Item 1) (TM 5-3805-293-10).
5. Install two caps (Figure 2, Item 7) onto left blade lift cylinder upper lugs (Figure 2, Item 4).
6. Slowly adjust length of left blade lift cylinder (Figure 2, Item 16) and centershift cylinder (Figure 2, Item 15) to
position caps (Figure 2, Item 7) onto bar assembly (Figure 2, Item 8) (TM 5-3805-293-10).
7. Stop engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
8. Install four bolts (Figure 2, Item 5) and washers (Figure 2, Item 6) on caps (Figure 2, Item 7).

Note position of shims to aid in installation.
9. Remove two bolts (Figure 2, Item 12), washers (Figure 2, Item 11), cap (Figure 2, Item 13), and shims
(Figure 2, Item 10) from left blade lift cylinder (Figure 2, Item 16).
10. Start engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
11. Slowly adjust length of left blade lift cylinder (Figure 2, Item 16) to reposition left blade lift cylinder from normal
operation position ball (Figure 2, Item 9) to transportation position ball (Figure 2, Item 14) (TM 5-3805-293-10).
12. Stop engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
