WARN I N G
Contact with refrigerant can cause frostbite. Keep hands and face away to prevent
personal injury.
Protective face shield and gloves must always be worn when refrigerant lines are opened,
even if the gauges indicate system is empty.
Always use caution when disconnecting fititngs. Slowly loosen the fitting in a well-
ventilated area.
Do not smoke when servicing A/C or wherever refrigerant gas may be present.
Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury or death to personnel.
C AU T I O N
Replace receiver/dryer if one or more of the following conditions occurs before you purge the
A/C system:
A/C system has been previously opened for service.
A/C system contains too much air or moisture in (as indicated by low refrigerant level).
A/C system has been opened for longer than 5 minutes.
A/C system has a large leak (such as a break in hose or line).
