REMOVAL CONTINUED
21. Remove rubber strip (Figure 10, Item 6) from heater and evaporator cores (Figure 10, Item 7). Discard rubber
strip.
22. Remove two tiedown straps (Figure 10, Item 5) from blower motor plate (Figure 10, Item 4). Discard tiedown
straps.

Tag wires to aid in installation.
23. Disconnect four blower motor resistor wires (Figure 10, Item 1) from blower motor resistor (Figure 10, Item 2).
24. Loosen locknut (Figure 10, Item 3) and remove blower motor resistor (Figure 10, Item 2) from blower motor
plate (Figure 10, Item 4). Discard locknut.
