Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.
Hydraulic oil pressue can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been
r
stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is
done on the hydraulic system.
Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered and oil is cool before removing any
components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped and the
filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Failure to follow these warnings ma result in injury to personnel.

1. Slowly turn two blade lift lock valves (Figure 1, Item 3) three complete turns. Allow pressure to release.
2. Tighten two blade lift lock valves (Figure 1, Item 3). Hand tighten only.
3. Slowly turn two blade lift relief valves (Figure 1, Item 2) three complete turns. Allow pressure to release.
4. Tighten two blade lift relief valves (Figure 1, Item 2). Hand tighten only.
5. Slowly turn two articulation lock valves (Figure 1, Item 1) three complete turns. Allow pressure to release.
6. Tighten two articulation lock valves (Figure 1, Item 1). Hand tighten only.
