Hydraulic oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills. Failure to follow this warning
may cause injury to personnel.
N OT E
The procedure for front drive motor speed sensor replacement is identical for the left and
right sides. Left front drive motor speed sensor replacement is shown in this procedure.
Tag and mark wires to aid in installation.
1. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 3), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and plate (Figure 1, Item 5) from left wheel
drive motor cover (Figure 1, Item 6).
2. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 8), washer (Figure 1, Item 7), clip (Figure 1, Item 2) and left motor speed harness
(Figure 1, Item 1) from left wheel drive motor cover (Figure 1, Item 6).
