Lifting device is only for chain support and not for removal purposes.
12. Install suitable lifting device on chain assembly.
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Chain assembly weighs 70 lb (32 kg).
13. Rotate wheel spindle to remove chain assembly (Figure 9, Item 1) from tandem housing (Figure 9, Item 2) and
lower onto a flat surface.
14. Repeat steps 5 through 13 for remaining chain. Repeat for second walkway.
