Hydraulic oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills. Failure to follow this warning
may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
The front all-wheel drive pump controls theleft side all-wheel drive circuit. The rear
all-wheel drive pump controls the right side all-wheel drive circuit.
Tag and mark all wiring harne ses to aid in installation.

2. Disconnect two wire harness connectors (Figure 2, Item 1) from solenoids (Figure 2, Item 3).
3. Remove eight bolts (Figure 2, Item 2), two solenoids (Figure 2, Item 3) and two O-rings (Figure 2, Item 4) from
control valve (Figure 2, Item 6). Discard O-rings.
4. Remove two bolts (Figure 2, Item 5), bolts (Figure 2, Item 8), control valve (Figure 2, Item 6), eight O-rings
(Figure 2, Item 7) and O-ring (Figure 2, Item 9) from AWD pump (Figure 2, Item 10). Discard O-rings.
