Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to
personnel.
N OT E
Electric starter motor weighs approximately 62 lb (28 kg).
1. With assistance, install new gasket (Figure 5, Item 3) and starter motor (Figure 5, Item 1) on machine.
2. Install three bolts (Figure 5, Item 2) on starter motor (Figure 5, Item 1).
3. Install bracket (Figure 6, Item 1), three washers (Figure 6, Item 3), and bolts (Figure 6, Item 2) on frame
(Figure 6, Item 12).
4. Tighten two nuts (Figure 6, Item 4) on hose bundle clamp (Figure 6, Item 5).
5. Install wiring harness clip (Figure 6, Item 9), washer (Figure 6, Item 11), and bolt (Figure 6, Item 10) on hose
bundle clamp (Figure 6, Item 5).
6. Install A/C line clip (Figure 6, Item 8), washer (Figure 6, Item 6), and bolt (Figure 6, Item 7) on hose bundle
clamp (Figure 6, Item 5).
