1. Install crankshaft adapters (Figure 7, Item 1 and 6) and three torx bolts (Figure 7, Item 5) on engine. Torque
torx bolts to 50 lb-ft (68 Nm).
N OT E
Bolts should be installed one every other hole.
2. Install crankshaft pulley (Figure 7, Item 2), crankshaft damper (Figure 7, Item 3), and six bolts (Figure 7,
Item 4) on crankshaft adapter (Figure 7, Item 1). Hand tighten bolts.
3. Install chain wrench (Figure 8, Item 2) on vibration damper (Figure 8, Item 1).
4. Torque three torx bolts (Figure 7, Item 5) to 147 lb-ft (200 Nm).
5. Torque three torx bolts (Figure 7, Item 5) to 147 lb-ft (200 Nm) two additional times.
6. Torque six bolts (Figure 7, Item 4) to 85 lb-ft (115 Nm).
