Chain link should be twice the length of chain wrench handle when extension is installed.
If chain is already assembled, move to step 1 of removal.
1. Position two outer plates (Figure 1, Item 1) on extension chain (Figure 1, Item 3) flush with two inner plates
(Figure 1, Item 2).

2. Remove ring (Figure 2, Item 1) from end of chain wrench chain (Figure 2, Item 2). Discard ring.
