10. Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 8) and two gaskets (Figure 4, Items 6 and 9), and oil drain tube (Figure 4,
Item 7) from machine. Discard gaskets.
11. Disconnect vacuum hose (Figure 4, Item 11) from actuator (Figure 4, Item 10).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Turbocharger weighs 40 lb (18 kg).
12. Remove four nuts (Figure 4, Item 5), turbocharger (Figure 4, Item 2), and two gaskets (Figure 4, Item 4) from
exhaust manifold (Figure 4, Item 3). Discard gaskets.
