Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to

Take care not to pinch any wires or hoses while setting engine back into position. Failure
to follow this caution may result in damage to equipment.
N OT E
Engine weighs approximately 2,000 lb (907 kg).
Turn engine to align splines on output shaft to transmission. Refer toManually Turning
Engine (WP 0032).
3. Using lifting device, lower engine into engine bay.
4. Install mount (Figure 33, Item 3), washer (Figure 33, Item 2) and engine mount bolt (Figure 33, Item 1) in right
engine mount (Figure 33, Item 4).
