ENGINE STAND MOUNTING CONTINUED

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
The engine weighs approximately 2,000 lb (907 kg).
17. Using lifting device, lift engine (Figure 26, Item 1) from vehicle support stands and place on engine stand
(Figure 26, Item 7).
18. Install four washers (Figure 26, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 26, Item 3) on engine stand (Figure 26, Item 7).
19. Install three spacers (Figure 26, Item 4), washers (Figure 26, Item 5) and bolts (Figure 26, Item 6) on engine
stand (Figure 26, Item 7).
20. Remove engine sling, lifting eye and lifting device from engine.
