Improper calibration of th transmission clutch fill will cause transmission shifting

problems. The automatic calibration procedure for setting the transmission clutch fill will
achieve greater consistency.
Do not perform this procedure if software has just been uploaded into the transmission/
chassis electronic control module. Cycle the power for the transmission/chassis electronic
control module prior to performing this procedure.
Operator must be present and seatedin the cab during this entire test.
The modulating control valves are mounted on the rear of the transmission on the left side of the machine. There is
one modulating valve for each of the eight transmission clutches. The machine is equipped with the following
Modulating valve for clutch 1 (forward high) (Figure 31, Item 8).
Modulating valve for clutch 2 (forward low) (Figure 31, Item 7).
Modulating valve for clutch 3 (reverse) (Figure 31, Item 6).
Modulating valve for clutch 4 (second speed) (Figure 31, Item 5).
Modulating valve for clutch 5 (third speed) (Figure 31, Item 4).
Modulating valve for clutch 6 (fist speed) (Figure 31, Item 3).
