POWERTRAIN CLUTCH SYSTEM PRESSURE TEST CONTINUED
22. Start engine, synchronize left steering joystick (TM 5-3805-293-10), and disengage parking brake switch (TM
5-3805-293-10).
23. Operate the engine at full throttle with the transmission in FIRST GEAR REVERSE. All three 580 psi hydraulic
gauges should read 400 10 psi (2,758 68 kPa). Record the pressure readings.
24. Engage parking brake.
25. Turn engine OFF.
26. Remove the 580 psi hydraulic gauges.
27. Install test port dust covers 1-8 (Figures 19, 20, 23, & 24).
28. Remove two bolts (Figure 26, Item 1), washers (Figure 26, Item 2), and transmission test cover (Figure 26,
Item 3) from machine and install two washers (Figure 26, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 26, Item 1) in parking brake
housing (Figure 26, Item 4).
