7. Start engine, synchronize left steering joystick (TM 5-3805-293-10), and disengage parking brake switch (TM
5-3805-293-10). Operate machine until transmission oil is at operating temperature of 176 18F (80 -8C)
(TM 5-3805-293-10).
8. Operate the engine at full throttle with the transmission in NEUTRAL. Both 580 psi hydraulic gauges should
read 400 10 psi (2,758 68 kPa). Record the pressure readings.
9. Turn engine off (TM 5-3805-293-10), and remove two 580 psi hydraulic gauges and hoses from test ports.
Install test port 5 and test port 8 (Figure 19) dust covers.
