Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a con-
nection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic code
is Active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
Test Step 1. Verify if Code 2160-06
is Active.
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006). Select  2160-06 Code Active - Proceed to
Implement 120M and verify 2160- Test Step 2.
06 is active.
2160-06 Code Not Active -
Troubleshooting complete.
Test Step 2. Test Solenoid.
1. Remove rear front frame cover
(WP 0224).
2. Disconnect front attachment har-
ness connector U-C25 (WP 0009,
Figure 242) from blade left raise
solenoid (WP 0009, Figure 243).
3. Using MSD (WP 0006), verify
2160-05 Code Becomes Active -
Replace blade left raise solenoid (WP
2160-05 is active.
0246).
Proceed to step 4.
2160-06 Code Remains Active -
Proceed to Test Step 3.
4. Using MSD (WP 0006), select
2160-06 Code Active - Repeat
Implement 120M and verify 2160- troubleshooting code from the

Test Step 3. Test Cab Lower

1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
