Position Sensor #1 Voltage
Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Below Normal - Continued
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a con-
nection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic code
is Active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is Active.
Test Step 1. Test for Signal Voltage
at LH Joystick.
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006), select
Implement 120M and verify 1471-
04 is active.
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
3. Disconnect the cab lower wiring
harness connector P-C51 (WP
0009, Figure 118) from LH joy-
stick connector J-1 (WP 0009,
Figure 119) (WP 0282).
4. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the ON posi-
tion.
Voltage OK (11.8 to 12.3 Volts) -
voltage between P-C51 terminal 2
