2294-05 Right Front Drive
Test Step 1. Test for Open Right
Motor Solenoid Current
Front Drive Motor Solenoid.
Below Normal - Continued
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006). Select
All Wheel Drive 120M and verify
2294-05 is active.
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
3. Remove nose front frame cover
from machine (WP 0224).
4. Disconnect clutch drive solenoid
AF-C5 harness connector (WP
0009, Figure 98) from right front
drive motor solenoid (WP 0009,
Figure 99).
5. Connect jumper wire between AF-
C5 terminal 1 and E797-WH at
AF-C5 terminal 2 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 98).
6. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to the ON posi-
tion.
Code 2294-05 Remains Active - Pro-
7. Check for Active code 2294-05 or
ceed to Test Step 2.
2294-06 in All Wheel Drive 120M
ECM (WP 0006).
Code 2294-05 Becomes Inactive
and 2294-06 Becomes Active -
Remove jumper wire from AF-C5 ter-
minal 1 and terminal 2 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 98).
Replace right front drive motor sole-
noid (WP 0248).
Proceed to step 8.
8. Using the MSD (WP 0006), select
2294-05 Code Active - Repeat trou-
All Wheel Drive 120M and verify
bleshooting code from the beginning.
2294-05 is not active.
2294-05 Code Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 2. Test for Open Clutch
Drive Solenoid Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Remove jumper wire from AF-C5
terminal 1 and terminal 2 (WP
0009, Figure 98).
