ALL-WHEEL DRIVE (AWD) SYSTEM

1. The AWD system has left and right charge pumps, left and right piston pumps, a control valve, and left and
right piston motors for its main hydraulic components. The AWD ECM, mounted in the cab, monitors various
sensors to determine the operating parameters of the AWD system. The AWD system has an OFF mode, a
CREEP mode that uses only the front wheels to drive the machine, and a MANUAL mode that allows the
operator to adjust the front-wheel speeds.
