MONITORING SYSTEM

1. The monitoring system is designed to alert the operator to an impending or immediate problem with any of the
machine systems that are monitored, providing the operator with machine status information. The monitoring
system includes an indicator and gauge display and also a messenger display.

2. The messenger continuously monitors all machine systems and communicates with the ECMs of other
systems via the Cat Data Link. The messenger can indicate warnings that have occurred in the ECMs of other
systems.
