Measure the tire inflation pressure.
Inspect the tires for damage. See "Tire Inflation
Information."

Clean the windshield, side and rear glass.
8.
Clean all lights and reflectors.
9.
Make certain the headlights, taillights, turn signals
and hazard warning lights function properly.
10. Make certain that the steering functions properly.
11. Make certain the brakes function properly.
12. Make certain all the controls, indicators and gauges
function properly.
13. Have a fire extinguisher, flares and safety reflectors
with the machine.
14. Obey all traffic regulations.
15. If any of the indicators come on, stop the machine.
Investigate and correct the cause.
16. Stop every 80 km (50 miles) or 2 hours, for 30
minutes. Inspect the machine and allow the machine
parts to cool.
17. When traveling long distances, lubricate the machine
at recommended intervals.

Move
the
transmission

to
NEUTRAL
c.
Set the parking brake.
d.
Pull the accelerator up past the detent to stop
the engine. Turn the disconnect switch OFF and
remove key.

At night, set out flares and/or
safety reflectors.
