The 6V4039Safety Relief Valve holds the working pressure to amaximum of 1137 kPa (165 psi). Do not inflate any tirebeyond its bead seating pressure.Open a small amount, then close valve (1) for a momentto remove any dirt or dust that is in the cylinder valveoutlet.Connect 6V4037 Regulator Assembly (2) to valve (1) andconnect 1J3914 Hose Assembly (3) to regulator (2).Turn out pressure adjusting screw (4) until it turns freely.Open valve (1) very slowly so the inlet pressure gaugemoves slowly to the cylinder pressure. Move to one sideas shown and open valve (1) all the way.Connect 6V4038 Standard Chuck or 1 P3551 LargeChuck (5) to hose (3).90
