Shipping
1.
Block the trailer or rail car wheels before loading.
2.
Set the blade lengthwise under the machine. Lower
all raised equipment. Move the transmission control
lever to NEUTRAL.

install the wheel lean lock pin.
4.
Remove lock pin and install antiarticulation pin in
locked position.
5.
Block the wheels and secure the machine with tie-
downs.
6.
Cover the exhaust opening to prevent turbocharger
"windmilling" in transit.
7.
Tip or cover the seat to protect the cushion.
8.
Disconnect the parking brake rotochamber. See
"Towing the Machine" in the "Moving and Stopping the
Machine" section.
9.
Turn the disconnect switch off and remove the key.
10. Lock all possible compartments.
11. In freezing weather, make certain that the cooling
system is protected with antifreeze to the lowest
expected ambient temperature or is drained completely.
12. Check regulations covering the transportation of
cylinders
containing
compressed
gas
(blade
accumulator)
