SUPPLEMENTAL STEERING SYSTEM
1. Turns OFF E.M.S. indicator LED (5) and master fault
light (6);
2. Puts the electronic control module in an activated
condition.
Only in this activated condition will a loss of pressure at
pressure switch (7) cause the circuit to turn ON supplemental
steering motor (2).
9. "R" terminal.
AFTER ENGINE START-UP - WARNING CONDITIONS
After the engine has been started, the warning conditions
have the following meaning:
1. The EMS indicator LED (5) and master fault light (6)
will FLASH and the horn will sound if the primary
steering system pressure is lost.
2. The supplemental steering motor status light (4)
indicates that the supplemental steering motor is
running.
If either of the two warning conditions are observed, the
operator should bring the ma-chine to a stop as soon as
possible and have the steering system checked before
further machine operation.
