Loosen plug (78) carefully to relieve tension of spring
(76). Remove plug, preformed packing (77), spring
(64), and ball (75). Discard preformed packing.

Use brass punch and hammer to remove seat (74) from
check valve body (12) body.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Clean and inspect all parts in accordance with WP 0020 00.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Lower temperature of seat (74).

Use brass punch and hammer to install seat (74) in
check valve (12) body.
3.
Install pinion (67).

Lower temperature of seat (66).
5.
Use brass punch and hammer to install seat (66).
6.
Move piston (67) to check for free travel.
