UPPER CAB REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Upper cab weighs approximately 900 lb (408 kg).
25. Attach slings and lifting device to cab lift eyes (Figure 14, Item 1).
26. Raise upper cab section (Figure 14, Item 2) to remove it from lower cab section (Figure 14, Item 3), and lower
upper cab section onto transport equipment.
27. Remove lifting device and slings from cab lift eyes (Figure 14, Item 1).
28. Secure upper cab (Figure 14, Item 2) to transport equipment.
