Contact with refrigerant can cause frostbite. Keep hands and face away to prevent
personal injury.
Protective face shield and gloves must always be worn when refrigerant lines are opened,
even if the gauges indicate system is empty.
Always use caution when disconnecting fittings. Slowly loosen the fitting in a well
ventilated area.
Do not smoke when servicing A/C or whenever refrigerant gas may be present.
Only service A/C system in a well-ventilated area.
DO NOT service cooling system unless engine has cooled. This is a pressurized cooling
system and escaping steam or hot coolant will cause serious burns.
DO NOT remove cooling system radiator c p when engine is hot. Allow engine to cool
a
down. Slowly loosen cap to vent any pressure in the cooling system.
Wear effective eye, skin, and handprotection when handling coolants.
Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury or serious burns to personnel.
1. Remove three bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), washers (Figure 1, Item 1), clamp (Figure 1, Item 5), hose (Figure 1,
Item 4), and cover (Figure 1, Item 3) from cab. Position hose aside.
