1. Inspect seat belt (Figure 1, Item 2) for fraying or tears.
2. Ensure seat belt (Figure 1, Item 2) retracts and extends from housing (Figure 1, Item 4).
3. Ensure seat belt (Figure 1, Item 2) fastens securely in latch (Figure 1, Item 1).
4. Ensure latch (Figure 1, Item 1) moves freely without binding.
5. Inspect housing (Figure 1, Item 4) for damage.
6. Inspect latch (Figure 1, Item 1) for damage.
7. Ensure bolts (Figure 1, Items 3 and 5) are secure.
8. If damaged, replace seat belt (refer to Removal and Installation in this work package).
