Silicone sealant has to cure to secure glasson door. Installing door on cab before allowing
adhesive to cure may allow glass to shift or fall out.
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device.
Failure to follow thiswarning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Place door on flat surface to prepare for gass installation. Old silicone sealant must be
l
completely removed. Sealing surface needs to be dry and free of debris and solvent.
Install buttons in locations noted during removal.
1. Install six new buttons (Figure 1, Item 6) and eight new buttons (Figure 2, Item 5), and apply new silicone
sealant (Figure 2, Item 1) on sealing surface (Figure 2, Item 2).
2. Install glass (Figure 2, Item 3) on silicone sealant (Figure 2, Item 1) in door (Figure 2, Item 4).
