To prevent injury to personnel, wear protective eye covering and gloves.
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device.
Failure to follow thiswarning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Place door on flat surface to prepare glass for removal. Use heat gun to soften sealant for
easy removal.
1. Remove glass (Figure 1, Item 3) while cutting out silicone sealant (Figure 1, Item 1) from sealing surface
(Figure 1, Item 2).
N OT E
Note location of buttons prior to removal to aid in installation.
2. Remove silicone sealant (Figure 1, Item 1), eight buttons (Figure 1, Item 5), and six buttons (Figure 1, Item 6)
from door (Figure 1, Item 4). Discard silicone sealant and buttons.
