72. Install lifting brackets (Figure 29, Item 6), slings, and lifting device (Figure 29, Item 5) on transmission
(Figure 29, Item 7).
73. Remove two bolts (Figure 29, Item 1), washers (Figure 29, Item 13 and 11), resilient mount (Figure 29,
Item 10), and sleeve (Figure 29, Item 12) from transmission (Figure 29, Item 7).

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Transmission weighs 1,900 lb (862 kg).
74. Using lifting device, slightly raise transmission.
75. Remove eight bolts (Figure 29, Item 3), washers (Figure 29, Item 4), two brackets (Figure 29, Item 2), two
resilient mounts (Figure 29, Item 9) and washers (Figure 29, Item 8) from machine.
